”The view has been emerging that it is not what is learned but how it is learned and the part that teachers need to play to interview in the process of learning is of greatest significance.”
A new approach has been successfully initiated at the pre-primary and primary levels. Trained and highly motivated teachers are taking care of the playgroup section. Children are taught with flashcards, live things, demonstrations, puppet shows, and through smart classes. Different types of activities were held like collage, thumb printing, spray painting & smart classes. We have trips to various places like fruit and vegetable markets, gardens, etc. Where children come to know more about the environment and the current affairs happening around them.
After graduating from the playgroup section children entered the primary section. Teachers help children to develop psycho motive domain through various activities. The learning experience is based on hands experience and the usage of various teaching techniques like demonstration, dramatization, audio-visual techniques, field trips, and so on. Children are exposed to various sports techniques such as skating, swimming, field activity like football, etc.
Now challenges are met as communication, reasoning, problem-solving, and value adjustment become far more complex. Formal education is introduced based on the NCERT syllabus. The addition of Art, Craft, Yoga, Karate, Music, Computer Applications, and Dance in the curriculum helps in the development of the character and personality of the child.
